Sam Rayburn Reservoir is one of the largest lakes in Texas, and per the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Fort Worth District, the reservoir was constructed by the Corps and is operated for flood control, water supply, hydroelectric power generation, and recreation, with a substantial residential and recreational community grown up around its shoreline. Active emergencies in Etoile get moved up the schedule when we can. Burst pipes (a real concern on unwinterized lake properties), sewer or septic backups, water heater leaks, and slab leaks all qualify as priority calls. Lakefront emergencies can be especially time-sensitive when a homeowner isn’t on site to limit the damage.
Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. We don’t operate after business hours or on weekends. For lakefront emergencies outside business hours, shut off the main water valve to limit damage and call us first thing the next business morning.
